Paying for your holiday |
- Whether you book on-line or over the telephone, a £50 deposit is required for each week booked unless using the Easy Payment Plan this can then be reduced to just £25 per week. Please note: deposits and full payments are non-refundable or transferrable to alternate dates or accommodation.
- To book over the telephone, please call one of our helpful booking advisers on Tel: 01395 22 40 66. It would be helpful if you have your required property code to hand, but please do not worry if you have not decided yet as our booking advisers will be pleased to help. Telephone lines are open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 1pm on Saturdays and Bank holidays.
- Payment can be made by Debit cards or Credit cards. Cheques and postal orders can only be used when paying the final balance, they must be made payable to Newmans Holiday Homes and must be received by the date the final payment is due. We advise against sending cash payments, but if you have no alternative it must be sent by registered post as no responsibility can be accepted for loss.
- If you book on-line, you will be sent a confirmation by e-mail. If you book over the telephone, then on receipt of your payment, you will be sent a confirmation by e-mail if you have supplied an email address, or if not, by post. This will confirm your booking and show the remaining balance, which is to be paid no later than eight weeks before your holiday. Should your payment not reach us by the due date, we reserve the right to re-let the caravan. The balance remaining will be taken automatically from the original card used to pay the deposit, eight weeks prior to your holiday start date. Should you wish to cancel your holiday after the payment is due in full (eight weeks before your start date) and have not paid in full, you will be liable for 40% of the remaining balance. This amount will automatically be taken from the original card used to pay the deposit, or any new card details supplied by you, the customer. PLEASE NOTE if you wish to pay the remaining balance by an alternative method you MUST inform Newmans immediately.
- After you have paid your deposit, you may wish to change some elements of the holiday, e.g. add extra guests or order linen etc this is possible by either calling our booking advisers 01395 22 40 66 or sending an e-mail to enquiries@breansandscaravans.com
- Bed Linen: Newmans do not offer a bed linen hire service at Holiday Resort Unity. All caravans and Lodges ALWAYS come complete with pillows and duvets. Please remember to bring your own bed linen.
- Should you book eight weeks or less from the date of the holiday, the full amount will be due immediately, unless prior arrangements have been made with Newmans.
- Please ensure that the details you give us online or over the phone are accurate, as failure to do so could result in you forfeiting your holiday.
- A payment handing charge of 2% is incorporated within the total holiday costs.
- Lost Property: There will be a minimum charge of £10 for the return of any property left in the caravan.

Conditions of Hire |
- We regret that we are unable to accept bookings from: -
a) Groups of persons of all one sex.
b) Groups under 21 years of age.
- Holiday Resort Unity is a family holiday park and anyone whose unreasonable conduct causes a nuisance to any other persons on the park will be asked to leave.
- In order for us to clean and check the caravans, departures must be made before 10am on the day of departure and no keys will be released before the designated check in time on the day of your arrival.
- The caravan must be left in a clean and tidy condition. The hirer is responsible for all members of the party and must make good any losses, breakage, or damage done to the caravan or its contents during their stay.
- DAMAGE / ADDITIONAL CLEANING: should any damage be caused or the caravan / lodge require additional cleaning this will be chargeable direct to the named hirer. Any damage or additional cleaning required will be logged and photographs will be taken to assist Newmans with any claim against the hirer. An initial £75 charge will be applied to your credit/debit card and you will then be notified of this by recorded mail. Should the £75 charge not be sufficient to cover the extra cleaning or damage caused the hirer will be required to pay the outstanding balance which will be invoiced to the hirer with-in 14 days. PLEASE NOTE: Photographs are ALWAYS taken and kept on file should any claim be disputed.
- DOGS: It may be possible to allocate a caravan to you should you wish to bring a maximum of two small to medium dogs subject to an additional fee of £20 each per week. (We will require a £40 refundable deposit per week per dog ) Failure to notify us of your intention to take any dog will result in your holiday being forfeited.
- Should accommodation booked become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control a full refund will be given. Alternative accommodation to the same value will be offered whenever possible.
Please note: We do not own the caravan site and therefore cannot accept liability for alterations to the facilities from those advertised. |
