Whether it’s Brean Play and the Outdoor Play Area for the little ones, Bingo and Live Entertainment for slightly older, the Theme Park and Brean Splash for the kids, or the Fishing Lake and Golf Course for Dad, there’s something on the resort for everyone. There’s also a mouth-watering range of restaurants and takeaways on to the resort – ideal when you don’t want the hassle of cooking. And if you run out of any of the basics, there’s a well-stocked Costcutter supermarket within easy walking distance.
Finally, don’t forget that HRU is just 200m from Brean’s massive sandy beach, which stretches for 7 miles, to Brean Down in one direction and Burnham on Sea in the other.
Brean Golf Club
Whether you’re a beginner or a golf ‘pro’, you’re sure to enjoy the challenge of this watery 18 hole golf course.
Brean Golf Clubs’ 18 hole course measures roughly 6000 yards and par is 69. Set in 120 acres of lush green meadowland, the course is interspersed by ‘several’ waterways and ponds that make formidable hazards around the flat landscape. There are also a range of services available in the pro-shop including coaching/lessons, club repairs and a selection of golf equipment. Half Price Green Fees! Fishing at Holiday Resort Unity
If fishing in beautiful surroundings is what you’re looking for then Holiday Resort Unity is the place for you. On the edge of Yellow field nestled beneath the willow trees, you will find the Fishing Lake.
Stocked with a variety of species including tench, roach, bream and carp (as pictured), you could be in for an exciting days’ fishing. Catching the ‘big’ Carp could prove more than a days work! The Fishing Lake is also a great place to just sit and relax. It really is a beautiful place to spend a sunny afternoon.
